Once on Skye continue on the A850 to Broadford then take the A8083 to Elgol for 15 miles on a single track road.

Once in Elgol the road makes a steep descent. Take the turning to Glasnakille at the signpost. Drive past the Elgol Community Hall and continue for 2 miles.

Once at the T-junction by the red phone box, go left and Rowan Cottage is the first house on the left.

The driving time from Broadford is 30 to 45 minutes.
