Rowan Cottage is beautifully situated in the quiet community of Glasnakille, on the peninsula of Strathaird, off the beaten track, two miles from Elgol.

Rowan Cottage, Glasnakille, Skye The cottage sits high above Loch Slapin, tucked into the hillside, offering majestic views over the Red Cuillin and the peninsula of Sleat.

Rowanberry is an addition to the cottage with its own entrance, and offers a "suit yourself" option.

'Early birds' can enjoy the sun rise above the mountains of Knoydart, and in the evenings can relax with a backdrop of magnificent sunsets framed by the islands of Rum, Canna and Eigg.

The area abounds in natural wildlife, including seals, otters, red deer, eagles and numerous sea birds.
